Symptoms

Enterprise Manager 13.4.0.0.0 Cloud Control, OMS Install

OMS 13.4 install fails at the configuration of BI Publisher with the following error.

From /<OMS_HOME>/gc_inst/user_projects/domains/GCDomain/servers/BIP/logs/bipublisher/bipublisher.log:

WLSTException: Error occurred while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : Received error message from Node Manager Server: [Processing for domain 'GCDomain' failed due to I/O error: [The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect]]. Please check Node Manager log for details.
Use dumpStack() to view the full stacktrace :

[main] ERROR oms.PrintOMSSetupInfo main.262 - Exception while checking admin server status: null
[main] DEBUG commands.StatusCommand getWebTierStatus.164 - Checking status of WebTier. WebTier host: <HOSTNAME>.<DOMAIN_NAME> upload port: 4889
