Goal

When the auditing is enabled on EM, the client connections will be shown as originating from the SLB (Load Balancer) address and the actual Client IP address will be masked.

Example:

The document is intended to show how the SLB settings can be changes so that the originating IP address of the client can be captured.

Note: The settings may be different from an SLB vendor to the other. This document is only intended to be used as a generic guideline and not as definitive solution. Contact your SLB vendor in case of further question.
