Symptoms

Running a SQL Script job against a target database errors with:

SQL*Plus: Release 12.1.0.2.0 Production on Thu Feb 4 09:45:52 2021

SQL> SQL> ERROR:
ORA-12546: TNS:permission denied

SP2-0584: EXIT variable "SQLCODE" was non-numeric

<variable> | :<bindvariable> ] [ COMMIT | ROLLBACK ]
Process returned : 1.
