EM13c : Trying To Execute SQL via REST API Fails - Credential not found (Doc ID 2780355.1)

Symptoms

In Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control, end users get a named credential for connecting to pluggable database, but they are not the owners of this named credential.

1. To create EM user:

Navigation:
Setup --> Security --> Administrators


Create Administrator: ABC
Super Administrator Yes

2. To create Named Credentials

Navigation:
Setup --> Security --> Named Credentials

Create Named Credential: NC_ABC

3. Grant privilege to Named Credentials

Navigation:
Setup --> Security --> Named Credentials

3.1) Search for the desired credential.NC_ABC

3.2) Click Manage Access

3.3) Click Add Grant, select desired users

3.4) Update privilege to either "Edit Credential", "Full Credential" or "View Credential"

3.5) Click save.


4. Additionally, check the oracle.sysman.db.restfulapi.executesql.target.query.enable OMS property must be set to true using emctl to enable REST operations on the database target.
