Purpose
Fleet Maintenance is a centralized mechanism for Patching/Upgrading of oracle homes and maintain consistency. Fleet maintenance uses the out of place patching option. Fleet maintenance allows Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control administrators to patch standalone databases, databases with data guard enabled, Oracle Restart or Grid Infrastructure with minimal downtime.
Scope
Steps outlined in this document are applicable for Patching or Upgrading the Grid Infrastructure using graphical user interface from Oracle Enterprise Manager. This is applicable from 13.5RU01 only.
