Goal
Enterprise Manager (EM) 13c Cloud Control Release Updates which come with a bundle of fixes are released every month. While the RUs can be applied post-install/upgrade, there are certain cases where the patch is required to fix issues that happen at the time of install/upgrade. Also, applying RU at the time of Install/Upgrade minimizes the downtime that will be needed for patching the OMS separately, since the patch is applied on the binaries and the changes are done automatically during the configuration phase.
This document will describe the steps to patch the 13.5 OMS with the Release Updates at the time of Installation/Upgrade.
