Purpose
This document explains the Upgrade Path to be taken to upgrade from 13.4 to 13.5. Upgrading to an incorrect Release Update in 13.5 might result in loss of functionality that was used in 13.4.
If upgrading to an uncertified RU, you will notice a failure during the Database Prerequisite Checks stating:
Recommendation: Based on the Release Update(RU) applied in your old OMS home apply the Oracle Enterprise Manager Update 13.5.0.x or later as available in the bit-only mode and proceed with upgrade. Check MOS Doc ID 2760230.2 for information regarding Oracle recommended Release Updates
Scope
Follow this document ONLY if you are upgrading from 13.4 to 13.5. If you are upgrading from 13.3 to 13.5, this document need NOT be followed, as a direct upgrade from 13.3 to 13.5 is supported.
