Very often, you may have a query about the PARALLEL parameter in Migration Work Bench. 

To accomplish more work in less time we can use parallelism to create additional background processes and sessions during migration activity using a data pump.

The value for the PARALLEL parameter should be twice the number of CPU cores but most of the time be prepared to adjust this value if needed.

Inappropriate PARALLEL parameter value in Migration workbench leads to database hung issues with library cache pin wait event & concurrency wait class.
