My Oracle Support Banner is referring to old structure of Siebel installation (Doc ID 2818607.1)

Siebel Enterprise target discovery pre-checks is failing with Siebel CRM 21.2 and above.

The precheck fails with the following message: No Enterprise exists with the specified name.

In siebelremotelogging.trc log from $agent_inst\sysman\log\oracle.sysman.empa.discovery is shown below error:

ERROR emagent.EMGatewayAgent logMsg.247 - Exception when invoking Siebel discovery REST API: https://FQDN:PORT/siebel/v1.0/cloudgateway/enterprises?expand=all <path>\Siebel\GTW\applicationcontainer\siebelcerts\siebelkeystore.jks (The system cannot find the path specified)

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Install Siebel MDE version (21.2 or later)

2. Install EM 13.4

3. Deploy Siebel plugin OEM server

4. Install oemagents in Siebel servers and deploy Siebel plugin.

5. In EM console, try to discover Siebel enterprise target. It is failing during discovery pre-check.


 New Siebel Installer starting with 21.2 Update.
