Symptoms

Siebel is upgraded from Siebel 20.11 to 21.5, Enterprise Manager 13.5 is configured and applied all required patches. When trying to discover Siebel Enterprise Target in EM 13.5, discovery pre-check failing.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Siebel upgraded from 20.11 to 21.5
2. Install & configure OMS 13.5
3. Apply 13.5 OMS & Agent patches
4. Login to EM console --> Targets --> Siebel
5. Click Add to add new Siebel enterprise targets
6. Provide all details and click Discovery Pre-check
7. Discovery Pre-check fails

 Siebel upgraded from 20.11 to 21.5
