Symptoms
Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control (EM FMWc) has the ability to modify Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) configuration. When attempting to modify OHS configuration files (ssl.conf, httpd.conf, mod_wl_ohs.conf) through Advanced Configuration, the "Operation setFileContents failed." error displayed as shown by the screen snapshot:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Access the EM FMWc page
2. Navigate to the Oracle HTTP Server home page
3. Select Administration and Advanced Configuration from the HTTP Server menu
4. From Select File to edit and click Go.
5. Select Lock & Edit
6. Make any changes in file
7. Click Apply and error occurs
