Failed to discovery the targets on Non-English Environment (Doc ID 2916066.1)

Symptoms

As a part of the Bug 34292052, Customer performed ExaCS discovery and below are the observations at different stages

 

1.Customer performed exaCS discovery using below command:

$ emcli submit_procedure -name=ExaCloudServiceDiscovery
-input_file=data:/u01/app/media/emcli_property.txt -notification="scheduled,
action required, running"

 

2. At the OMS side, Deployment procedure is submitted and the job is invoked.

3. At the agent side

i.  ExaCSDiscovery related GetMetricDataRequest was received:

ii . from emagent_perl.trc, csCellDiscovery.pl was invoked and exacli process is spawned. Post that there is no update/progress on exacli.

Since there was no target discovered, Nullpointer exception was reported in the below stack during the refresh operation in emoms.trc:
