EM 13c: Database Backup Job Created On Group of Database Targets Hangs Intermittently At Initialization Step (Doc ID 2956072.1)

Symptoms

Database backup jobs created from OEM Console and submitted against database group.

If any of the database targets in this group has issues like target being down, Credentials, TNS Errors on database etc . then backup job will hang on initialization step for the problematic database and the backup job does not run for the rest of the databases in the group.

Expected behavior is the job should skip for the problematic database and submit the backup job for the rest of the database targets in the group.
