Last updated on JULY 22, 2024

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 13.5.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying RU 21 or RU 22 on EM 13.5 OMS Home along with WLS PSU patch, EM Console page intermittently generates the following error while navigating to All Metrics page of some target types.

ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #17

Target Host Home page also freezes and shows blank.

Examples:

Case 1

Oracle Database Home Page > Monitoring > All Metrics
Select a Metric Which has an alert.
View Data > Last 31 Days
Popup appears saying:
ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #2

Page in browser then became unusable.

Case 2

Host Home Page > Metrics > All Metrics > Expand "CPU Overall Average Usage" metric and click on "Overall Usage Percentage"

During the problem time, $EM_INSTANCE_HOME/gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1/logs/emoms.trc file reports the following errors:
