How to Create a New Oracle Wallet From Java Keystore (jks Extension) Certificate File (Doc ID 3025370.1)

Goal

In some scenarios, the organization will provide a direct Java Keystore file with .jks extension where all the User and Private Key and Trusted certificates that are generated for the hosts. [In this scenario CSR is not required]

This document has the steps to create a new Oracle wallet from Java Keystore file with .jks extension using 'orapki' utility.

Note: Same steps can be used for wildcard certificates, which are received as User certificate, Private Key, and Trusted certificates.
