Symptoms

High number of inactive sessions for DBSNMP user from OMS on target DB's leading to exhaustion of max sessions
Issue seen for OMS 13.5 RU 20/21

Below query, when run on the problematic target DB, confirms the inactive sessions belong to OMS that are not auto-closing.

SQL> select username,command,status,server,osuser,machine,terminal,program,module,count(*) from gv$session where username='DBSNMP' and status='INACTIVE' group by username,command,status,server,osuser,machine,terminal,program,module;
