EM13c: Failed to Add Metric/Metric Extension to Monitoring Template with Error 'weblogic.utils.http.MaxRequestParameterExceedException' (Doc ID 3047383.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Console, adding the metric extension to monitoring template in Edit mode is failing and not able to save the metrics to template.

Navigation steps:

Enterprise --> Monitoring Template --> Search for template name --> Edit the monitoring template --> search and select the Metric Extension and thresholds --> Add Metrics to Template --> Continue

Post that Error is appearing as below screenshot.

 During template apply time, OMS logs level can observe the issue with below error.
