Purpose
This troubleshooting guide is provided to assist customers who are experiencing problems with 24c Agents and the targets they monitor being marked as 'Unreachable' when they are not or not being marked 'Unreachable' when they should be.
There are two scenarios in which an Agent Unreachable status should get reported.
1. Agent Down but Host Up
2. Host Down
If an Agent is reported as Unreachable when the Agent is actually Up then its a False alert and needs to be investigated. Similarly, if the Agent is actually Down but its status is Up in the Console then the incorrect status needs investigation.
