Symptoms
Scenario (1) Discovering Cluster Target Fail With Error:
No cluster is detected on the host <HostName>
Scenario (2) Another scenario when this issue is observed is when the cluster target is already discovered in EM console, and when trying to add a new node to this cluster from EM console => Cluster Home page > Cluster menu => Target setup => monitoring configuration. In this case the following error is also observed:
