Symptoms
Problems encountered when starting the Intelligent Agent on OpenVMS.
$ LSNRCTL DBSNMP_START
After a short period of time, the agent process dies.
A review of the related log files located in ORA_ROOT:[NETWORK.LOG] will show some errors :
DBSNMPC.LOG will contain errors similar to : :
NMS-00303: Failed to initialize event registration queue
NMS-00312: Error opening file $1$DGA2:[DKD0.<DB>.NETWORK.AGENT]ERE
DBSNMPC_START.LOG may contain the error :
snmiqohd: : no such file or directory
