Goal

In a SYSPLEX environment, HFS files can be shared.It would be useful for maintenance purposes to share Agent software across all LPARS and keep Agent configuration files specific for each LPAR.

Agent configuration files are included inside sysman repertories so it is necessary to have a different sysman directory in each LPAR. To have a different sysman directory while all LPARS are sharing the same HFS files, HOST_SID_OFFSET_ENABLED must be set to "host_only" and one directory including hostname (different from each LPAR) must be created.
