In an OracleAS IMHA topology, AS Console Shows Single Sign-On:Orasso To Be Down (Doc ID 436203.1)

An OracleAS 10g Rel 2 High Availability Identity Management (active-active) cluster has been installed / configured. For example:

                                      HTTP Load Balancer - login.domain
                                                  /                           \
                                                 /                              \
Single Sign-On / OID - sso1.domain      Single Sign-On / OID - sso2.domain

All works well, however, the AS Console of the Identity Management nodes in the cluster is showing the Component "Single Sign-On:orasso" to be down when in fact it is up and working.


Single Sign-On has been configured / installed to be SSL enabled, specifically, the parameters used in the "Specify HTTP Load Balancer Host and Ports" screen were

HTTP Listener: Port -> 5153
Enable SSL -> Yes

HTTP Load Balancer: Hostname -> login.domain
HTTP Load Balancer: Port -> 443
Enable SSL -> Yes

Consequently the advice given in

Section 25.1.1 Additional High Availability Configuration Instructions

has been followed, such that the targets.xml has the entries to point at the HTTPS port e.g.
