Symptoms

Trying to use 'dbsnmp as sysdba' as monitoring credentials for a standby database in the grid
console.

The dbsnmp user has been granted sysdba privileges at the database level and can connect successfully from sqlplus using 'dbsnmp as sysdba'.

In the Grid Console Database configuration page, a test connection returns :
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Success
The connection test was successful.
Privilege: - User dbsnmp does not have privileges to monitor this database
------------------------------------------------------------------------

As seen, the test connection is successful but the warning is also shown.
