Loading heap dump into Postgres fails (Doc ID 743364.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

This issue was identified with a Windows install, but can occur with any install using the Postgres DB.

In this case, console install is on a Windows XP box, and uses the default preinstalled PostgreSQL as the repository. This machine is also running the Agent in an OC4J VM on Sun JDK 1.5 with a default initial heap size and a 512MB max heap size.

The heap dump seems to complete successfully, resulting in a .txt file size of some 115MB. The loadheap.bat script runs to completion, but it reports errors along the way. The load is running against the included PostgreSQL database.

When trying  to view the heap dump in the Console, there this load is seen in the list of heaps and it is possible to drill down into it. But when clicking on the “Dictionary” link (for example), it the console displays “No Data Found” message.
