Although "Average Users Waiting Count" & "Database Time Spent Waiting" metrics are disabled from EM side, alerts are still sent for current severity.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go on Grid Console >> Targets >> Databases >> choose the desired database >> Database home page >> Metric & Policy Settings page.
2. Select "Average Users Waiting Count" and/or "Database Time Spent Waiting" metrics.
Then, click on "Disabled".
=> get confirmation that these Metrics are disabled successfully.
But Critical & Warning alerts still sent for "Average Users Waiting Count" and "Database Time Spent Waiting" metrics.
If the fix introduced by EM Diagnostic kit for POLICIES - 700 - "Open Severity's for disabled metrics" is run using that command :
$ repvfy verify policies -test 700 -fix
- Old alerts are removed, but in the next collection, new alerts will be generated and sent as if the metrics are still enabled.
