Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
When users create a domain index, the tablespace shown from Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Database Control - Schema tab - Database Objects - Indexes is always "SYSTEM", although we did use the tablespace parameter in the index DDL statement as below:

CREATE INDEX ABWGEB_ALTST_12_GEO11 ON ABWGEB_ALTST_12(GEOLOC) INDEXTYPE IS
MDSYS.SPATIAL_INDEX
PARAMETERS('TABLESPACE=GEO_IDX, WORK_TABLESPACE=GEO_IDX');

Same problem exists if you create any other domain index, like Text ConText Indextype, XML DB XMLIndex or your own domain index.
