Below is the schedule and pertinent Support information for currently released Enterprise Manager Base Releases and patchsets. The tables below represent the most accurate information Oracle can provide and are updated as information becomes available.

The My Oracle Support Certification (tab) is the sole source of Enterprise Manager Certifications.


Oracle offers code fixes for a product based on the Oracle Lifetime Support Policy (LSP). When the license period expires for a particular product, the support for code fixes offered by Oracle also ends.

When determining support timeframes and certification combinations for an Enterprise Manager Base Platform installation, you must consider the Enterprise Manager framework components (Oracle Management Service, Repository Database, and Fusion Middleware Server) as well as the targets (products, plug-ins) monitored by Enterprise Manager. Oracle recommends keeping your Enterprise Manager components and targets updated to the latest versions in order to receive code fixes without having to pay Extended Support fees.

 In an effort to minimize the above tables, versions that are no longer in Premier or Extended Support have been removed.  Here is a quick list of those versions:

Note 1: The Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Agent software (13c, 12c) is not available for individual download from OTN. The software is only available from the Cloud Control Console's Self-Update feature (Navigation path: Setup -> Extensibility -> Self Update).

Note 2: Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent 10.2.0.5 was the terminal release of the Agent on Microsoft Windows on Itanium platforms.

Please note: the grace period end dates for the different patch sets are as follows unless noted otherwise in the table:

10.2.0.5 is the last patch set for EM 10.2 (Terminal Release).  10.2.0.5 is currently in Sustaining Support.  No new patches will be made available for this release.

11.1.0.1

April 2015 

11.1.0.1 is the last patch set for 11g (Terminal Release).  11.1.0.0 is currently in Sustaining Support as of May 1, 2018.  No new patches will be made available for this release.

12.1.0.1 (BP1) Sept 2013

12.1.0.3 June 2015

12.1.0.5

12.1.0.5 is the last patch set for EM 12c (Terminal Release). 12.1.0.5 is currently in Extended Support and ES fees are required beginning Nov 2017.

13.x

13.x includes 13.1, 13.2, and 13.3 releases.  13.x is currently covered under Premium Support. 13.2.0.0.0, 13.3.0.0.0 and 13.4.0.0.0 are patchsets of the 13.x release.

13.1

The grace period for 13.1 was 1 year after the release of 13.2 (Release Date: Oct 2016). EM 13.1 was no longer in the error correction window as of Oct 2017.

13.2

The grace period for 13.2 is 1 year after the release of 13.3 (Release Date: July 2018).  In an effort to help customers on 13.2 who were waiting on 13.4, Sustaining Engineering will release a final PSU and Bundle Patch for April 2020.

13.3

The grace period for 13.3 is 1 year after the release of 13.4 (Release Date: Jan. 30, 2020).  EM 13.3 will leave error correction window on Jan 31, 2021.

13.4

The normal grace period for 13.4 is 1 year after the release of 13.5 (Release Date: April 27, 2021). However, due to an extension, EM 13.4 will leave error correction window on Apr 30, 2023.

13.5

Premier Support ends Dec 2023. The Extended Support fee will be waived for the period January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2026. Extended Support ends Dec 2026. (See the LSP Guide for details)

24.1.0.0

It is anticipated that Premier Support ends 2H CY2027. Extended Support ends 2H CY2029. These time frames should be used for planning purposes only and are subject to change.
