Symptoms

Login to GC - Setup - Patching Setup - Provide Metalink Credentials
click on Test button shows success message, but while Applying we get below error messages:

My Oracle Support authorization failed.- Although metalink credentials are correct and successfully validate,an error occured while downloading a sample patch from the patch url specified. Please check log for details.
