Goal

When a MS SQLServer Database is failing to be discovered, it is sometimes hard to understand what is going wrong when errors as below appear in the EM console on the discovery page:.

_Wbem_Remote_Determination_DynamicProperty - Missing Properties : [iscluster]
_MSSQL_Existence_TestMetric - Missing Properties :
[STDINWBEM_HOST,servername_from_jdbc]
_OS_Type_TargetHost_DynamicProperty - Missing Properties : [STDINWBEM_HOST]

The goal of this document is to help users to troubleshoot the discovery process by running manually each discovery step.
