Installing Grid Control 10.2 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 x86_64 EMDeploy Fails with exitCode=7 (Doc ID 958435.1)

When installing Grid Control (Interactive or the following error is encountered
in the CfmLogger-<dateStamp>.log

INFO: Error = OMS_ORACLE_HOME/bin/EMDeploy
have completed with exitCode=7

Web app 'APP_NAME' bound successfully.

Stopping OC4J instance 'OC4J_EMPROV'...done.

Copying OMS_ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/deploy.ini to
Writing any undeployed entries back to OMS_ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/deploy.ini.

Oc4jDeploy tool completed, but with errors.

The following error also appears in OMS_ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/OC4J~OC4J_EM~default_island~1
and continues when the install is re-run by clicking continue on the interactive Installer,
or re-running

OMS_ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/lib/i386/ cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory
