Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Planning - Version: 9.2.0.0.00 to 11.1.1.3.00 - Release: 9.2 to 11.1
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There are two groups GroupA and GroupB both provisioned for a Planning application, i.e.App1.
GroupA and GroupB are both part of another group AllGroups.
A business rule is created in the Essbase Administration Console (EAS) and a user from GroupA is given access to the rule.

When that user logs in to Planning, the business rule is visible.

However, when any other user from GroupA, GroupB or AllGroups logs in to the same application, they can also see the rule.
