After converting Shared Services to use objectGUID as an identity attribute in place of DN, duplicate entries are present in the Shared Services OpenLDAP directory for all external users (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory users). Instead of migrating the existing users' DN-based identifiers so that they use objectGUID, duplicate new users are created. The new users have objectGUID identifiers, and can successfully be provisioned, but the old DN users are not removed.

Consequently, the same user exists twice under the ou=People,ou=External,dc=css,dc=hyperion,dc=com node in the OpenLDAP in Shared Services, once with objectGUID and once with DN as their identifier.

As a result, external users are listed twice in Planning and/or the EAS console.
