Importing Dimension to EPMA from ADS File With "Replace" Option Results In Corruption (Doc ID 1076883.1)

When importing an ADS file using the "Replace" option to overwrite an existing dimension in Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA) the operation fails and leaves the dimension corrupted in EPMA. Some members are present twice, as shared and base, when they should not be.

This problem only occurs if there have been changes to the dimension hierarchy in EPMA in which members have been moved from one parent to another. It is when trying to roll back such changes by re-loading the dimension from ADS that the problem occurs. The error messages reference members that have been moved in this way. There are two errors for each member that was moved:

Error 1:

All 'Hierarchy' property updates for member 'E01_101_1110' were rolled back due to a validation error; please correct the properties in error indicated in the validation message and re-import the 'Hierarchy' section for this member to apply all member property updates.
ValidationMessage:  'Property value 'StoreData' is invalid for the 'DataStorage' property.'

Error 2:

An error occured while attempting to replace an existing dimension.  Further dimension updates will not be processed.
Error: 'Cannot remove Primary Reference Member before removing Shared Members.'

If you now look at the dimension in EPMA, a Shared member has been created where the member 'E01_101_1110' was moved from, whilst the base member exists under the parent 'E01_101_1110' was moved to. There should not be any Shared member.
