Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 10.1.3.4.1 on AIX 64-bit and OBIEE software is
also 64-bit. Oracle RDBMS 10.2.0.4.
Customer has now upgrade the Oracle client version from 10g to 22.214.171.124.0. In OBIEE, all the requests are now failing with:
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW).
Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. Could not load module /OBI/home/server/Bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci10g64.so. The module has an invalid magic number. [nQSError: 46029] Failed to load the DLL /OBI/home/server/Bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci10g64.so. Check if 'Oracle OCI 10G' database client is installed. (HY000)
Using the following note, you can confirm Oracle 10.2.0.4 as source and Oracle client 126.96.36.199.0. are supported on OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1:

In any case, using Oracle client 10.2.0.4, the requests continuining failing with the message:

Dependent module /ORACLEBI/oracle/product/10/db/lib/libclntsh.a(shr.o) could not be loaded. The module has an invalid magic number. Could not load module /OBI/home/server/Bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci10g.so. Dependent module /OBI/home/server/Bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci10g.so could not be loaded. [nQSError: 46029] Failed to load the DLL /OBI/home/server/Bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci10g.so. Check if 'Oracle OCI 10G' database client is installed. (HY000)
