Hyperion Financial Management Error "Requested Document Does Not Exist" When Switching Between Applications (Doc ID 1091191.1)

When switching between Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications using Navigate -> Applications -> Consolidation -> AppName menu steps, without first closing an already open HFM application, in certain circumstances HFM will display an error message  "Requested document does not exist", with a "Show Details" button to expand the error message displayed.
Once this occurs, it may not be possible to perform other navigation steps in the user interface, and the user may be required to log out of Workspace and log back in to continue.
