Smart View Excel Formatting Lost After Zoom In, Pivot, Undo or Redo Operations Even If "Preserve Excel Formatting" Option Selected (Doc ID 1096328.1)

Symptoms

When selecting "Use Excel Formatting" in the SmartView Options -> Display Tab, and doing any Excel formatting, for example, changing the background cell color then using "Zoom In" or "Zoom Out" or "Pivot dimension" the following may be observed:

• The Excel formatting disappears.

• Zoom In, Zoom Out operations delete Excel formatting even if  "Preserve Excel Formatting" is selected.

• Undo, Redo operations delete Excel formatting even if "Preserve Excel Formatting" option is selected.

Using the Refresh option does not affect the formatting.
