How to Troubleshoot Using the Essbase XCP File (Doc ID 1107112.1)

XCP files have been a part of the Essbase product starting with versions 4 and continues through to version 11.
An XCP file is generated when the agent or application server crashes.

Purpose

This article is intended to provide general guidance for users experiencing problems with Essbase caused by crashes where an XCP file is generated.
