You have installed OBIEE 10g Administration tool on a (Windows XP) PC separate from the OBIEE server components, which are installed on a machine running Windows 2003 server. You log into the Administration tool and open the (remote) repository in on-line mode. But you get the following error:
However you are able to log into Answers from this machine and successfully run a query. Also System DSN testing works, and ODBC client can open this System DSN too.
