Application Menu Items Intermittently Do Not Appear in Navigate Menu in Hyperion Workspace. (Doc ID 1109773.1)

Symptoms

Application menu items intermittently do not appear under Navigate menu in Hyperion Workspace. Users are not able to open Financial Management or Planning applications. 
Furthermore, displaying items under Application Groups node will fail with error message below:

Error occurred at server side while processing your request. (500)

To regain acces to HFM and Planning applications Hyperion Shared Services must be recycled.
