The purpose of this document is to provide some general information regarding the use of a WriteToFile subroutine as a tool when working with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Rules.
This document provides a general example of how the WriteTofile Subroutine can be used when working with HFM Rules.
The WriteToFile subroutine should generally be used for DEV build testing of HFM Rules as needed. If you include and use the WriteToFile in your HFM production application, you should expect significant performance degradation. It is highly suggested to test for performance degradation and take that into account prior to implementing the WriteToFile function in a production application.
