Missing Dimension Members From EPMA Shared Library After Backup / Restore Test (Doc ID 1121355.1)

Symptoms


The following steps were included as part of a test of the backup process for the Enterprise Performanace Management System products:

1. A backup of the Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA) relational database was taken.
2. Three members were deleted from a dimension in the Shared Library in (EPMA).
3. The EPMA database backup was restored.

On checking the Shared Library in EPMA following the restore it was found that the deleted members were still missing, it had been expected that these 3 members would have returned to the Shared Library following the restore.
