OBIEE 10g: Division of two Numbers gives an Integer Result, not a Decimal (Doc ID 1125863.1)

If you have a formula of one (integer) number dividing another, OBIEE gives the wrong answer, if there is a decimal involved.  Even if you set the result to have decimal places, the decimal part of the result is ignored.  For example, here the formula is set to two decimal places. The result displayed by OBIEE is given on the right hand side of the equation, the formula is on the left:

3/4 = 0.00
5/4 = 1.00
7/4 = 1.00
