Lifecycle Management Error “Unable to connect to the application, ensure that the application is up and running and the user has the appropriate rights to access this feature” (Doc ID 1153336.1)

Symptoms

After clicking on the name of the Financial Management (HFM) application in Shared Services, in order to show Artifact List, causes following error:

Unable to connect to the application, ensure that the application is up and running and the user has the appropriate rights to access this feature.

In SharedServices_LCM.log following error appears:

Unexpected failure to connect with following stack trace: com.hyperion.lcm.common.manager.ManagerException: Failed in communicating with Remote Service in Connect operation:org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Transport error: 404 Error: Not Found
