Suppress "No Access" or "Invalid" Rows In Smart View (Doc ID 1182474.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Planning - Version: and later   [Release: 11.1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using Ad Hoc with a Planning or Essbase connection in Smart View, when a user has no permissions to view a row, a "No Access" message is displayed. If the point of view (POV) for a cell is not valid then an "Invalid" message is displayed.

Is there any way to suppress these rows, rather than displaying the "No Access" or "Invalid" messages? In Smart View properties (Hyperion > Options in Excel) there are checkboxes under the Ad Hoc tab called "No Access" and "Invalid", but these are greyed out when using Planning or Essbase connections.
