Returning Models to an Unpublished State (Doc ID 1205533.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Strategic Operational Planning - Version: 4.0.0.0.00 to 4.0.3.0.00 - Release: 4.0 to 4.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

After you publish a model, you must comply with the following restrictions:

• You cannot add or delete dimensions for published cubes.
• You cannot change the rowsource column type.
• You cannot delete constraints.

However, as a workaround for these restrictions, you can return the model to the unpublished state. This process includes exporting the model to the file system, resetting and restarting the Integrated Operational Planning system, and re-importing the model. You can then make changes that are not allowed in published models.
