Purpose
This bulletin describes in detail the steps needed to apply patches to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g using the OPatch tool.
Scope
This document is intended for Oracle DBAs or system administrators who are responsible for patching and maintaining OBIEE 11g instances. Command examples are listed for a Windows instance, but the same commands may be used on any Unix/Linux platform. The syntax, or method, to set environment variables will be different depending upon your Unix/Linux shell environment.
