Last updated on JULY 28, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Planning - Version: 11.1.2.0.00 and later   [Release: 11.1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Within Calculation Manager when attempting to copy a Rule that includes a template from one Application to another the copy does not properly update the Application referenced by the template.

The template references the source application while it should reflect the target. Template is not updated properly in the target Application/Plan Type.

Changes

1. Create a rule in the source application.
2. Add a template within the rule.
3. Copy the rule to a destination application.
4. Open the template that is present within the rule in the destination application.
5. The application name, database name, date and time of the template that is copied over to the destination reflects the same as in the source. Template is not updated properly in the target Application/Plan Type.
