If an EBS Source System connection details are changed in the ODI Topology Manager (i.e. to point to another EBS system) after having run some initial metadata & possibly also data loads there is a risk of metadata corruption relating to the registered EBS source system in the ERPI schema and also problems when reconciling figures after doing data loads.

This can occur due to differences in the underlying metadata between two EBS Source Systems. Even when the hierarchies and dimension members in both EBS systems are exactly alike there can be differences in the underlying metadata.

This matter will be documented in a future release of the ERPI documentation.

If the EBS Source System has been modified in the ODI Topology Manager to point to a different EBS Source System that is not an exact copy of the initially configured system then the following issues may occur:

* Problems reconciling data after data loads have completed.
* Drilling back to incorrect figures.
* Expected figures not being extracted from the EBS Source System.
