Selecting Load Method of "Merge" for Essbase Does Not Accumulate Values In Intersection (Doc ID 1263075.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 14, 2018

Applies to:

Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management - Version: 9.3.1.0.00 and later   [Release: 9.3 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently when loading data to an Essbase Application and choosing the "Merge" option, the data that is contained in the source file is being written to the intersection, but it is not accumulating with the data that is currently contained in the intersection.

For example, if an intersection being loaded currently contains $1000 and the source file contains $2000 for this intersection, the result in Essbase following the load is $2000 rather than the accumulated value of $3000.
