Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Services Fail to Start after Server converted to a VMWare Machine for Hyperion Planning

The following Enterprise Management Architecture (EPMA) services fail to start:
This happens after the physical machine with working EPM install was converted to a VMWare machine.
The following error was generated:
Service cannot be started. Hyperion.DimensionServer.ProcessManager.Interface.ProcessManagerException: Cannot initialize the Session Manager. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
